Our client is looking for a high-energy “hunter” who is also an excellent account manager to fill a home-based sales position, ideally located somewhere in the Charlotte to Atlanta area. Overnight travel is expected to be ~30% on average. It can be higher at times. |

Responsibilities: Sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals (Organic Pigments, Liquid Colorants, Dyes, Specialty Resins, Functional Additives, etc.) to the Paints & Coatings, Plastic Compounding, Master-Batch, Inks, Graphic Arts, etc. markets in the Southeast US Region (NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, and E. TN). Build and maintain excellent customer relationships. Drive and continually fill a strong opportunity pipeline. This is commercial & technical selling. There would also be prospecting and cold calling responsibilities. Manage all pricing and account strategies. Grow the business, both at existing accounts, but also by adding new accounts. Travel overnight as needed. |

Requirements: 4+ years of experience selling raw material chemicals, preferably to the Paints & Coatings, Plastic Compounding, Master-Batch, Inks, Graphic Arts, markets. A bachelor’s degree is required. Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, have competitive drive and the desire to win. High energy “hunter” with proven sales success in the region. Willingness to travel overnight as needed. |

Compensation: Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience. Plus, bonus based on GP$ growth and KPIs. Realistic annual bonus would be in the 20% - 30% of base salary range.
